The department of CSE was established in the year 1984. The department had a legacy of mini computer systems like NELCO FORCE 20, HALLMARK-II, multi-users operating systems like ONIX V-386, SCO-UNIX V and presently houses the blend of latest IBM, DELL, HP servers and Apple MAC systems.
The department labs are fully equipped with latest configuration systems, licensed softwares and all teaching aides. It has experienced and dynamic staff. The Computer centre caters to the needs of the students and staff for Internet access with a leased line of 10 Mbps and the campus is Wi-Fi enabled. With the inception of PG course i.e. M.E. in CSE in the year 2008, it provides opportunity for higher education and research. The final year results have been consistently above 85% and some of them have ranked in the University merit list.
The department is actively involved in developing the skills required for sustaining and maintaining the employability of students from entrepreneurship to the corporate world. Alumni meets are conducted every year to develop interactions, know the industrial trends for future avenues.
