55 Chemical Engineering Students of D. Y. Patil Engineering Secure Placements in Leading Companies

D. Y. Patil College of Engineering & Technology, Kasaba Bawada, Kolhapur, has achieved another significant milestone in campus placements, with 55 students from the Chemical Engineering Department securing placements in reputed companies through the campus recruitment drive.

The selected students have received employment opportunities in leading organizations across the chemical, process, manufacturing, and allied industries, with attractive salary packages. Among the selected students, Kiran Dhere secured the highest salary package, marking a notable achievement for the department.

The institution attributes this success to its industry-oriented curriculum, practical learning approach, continuous technical training, and comprehensive placement preparation. Students are regularly trained in technical skills, aptitude, communication, soft skills, personality development, and interview techniques, enabling them to meet industry expectations with confidence.

The Training and Placement Department played a key role in preparing students through mock interviews, group discussions, resume-building sessions, and industry interactions. These initiatives have helped students enhance their employability and secure promising career opportunities in reputed organizations.

The placement drive was successfully coordinated under the guidance of Executive Director Dr. A. K. Gupta. Students were mentored by Prof. Sudarshan Sutar (Training and Placement Officer), Prof. Prakash Kaingade (Training and Placement Officer), Dr. K. T. Jadhav (Head, Chemical Engineering Department), placement coordinators, and faculty members.

The college management congratulated all the selected students for their achievement. Chairman Dr. Sanjay D. Patil, Vice Chairman MLA Satej D.
