D. Y. Patil Engineering’s Computer Science Students Secure 185+ Job Opportunities
D. Y. Patil College of Engineering & Technology, Kasaba Bawada, Kolhapur, has achieved a remarkable milestone in campus placements, with more than 185 students from the Computer Science & Engineering Department securing job opportunities with reputed national and multinational companies.
The placement drive provided students with opportunities to begin their professional careers across leading technology and IT organizations. Among the selected students, two students secured an annual package of ₹8.5 lakh, highlighting the strong technical capabilities and industry readiness of the students.
The recruitment process witnessed participation from several reputed companies, including TCS, Infosys, Accenture, L&T, Cognizant, Wipro, HCL, Tech Mahindra, Technology Solutions, Infosys Specialist Programmer, TCS Digital, and other prominent organizations.
The institution places strong emphasis on preparing students according to changing industry requirements. Students are provided with updated technical education, career counselling, placement-focused training, aptitude preparation, communication and soft-skills development, and mock interview sessions. These initiatives have contributed significantly to enhancing students' employability and placement success.
The achievement also reflects the department's commitment to providing students with quality education, practical exposure, and opportunities to develop industry-relevant skills. Continuous interaction with leading companies and focused training enables students to confidently participate in national-level recruitment drives.
The placement and training activities were carried out under the guidance of Executive Director Dr. A. K. Gupta, Training & Placement Officer Prof. Sudarshan Sutar, Training & Placement Officer Prof. Makarand Kaikade, and CSE Department Head Dr. Rashmika Thangale, along with the dedicated efforts of faculty members.
The college management congratulated all the selected students for their achievement and wished them success in their professional careers. Chairman Dr. Sanjay D.
