D. Y. Patil Engineering’s Data Science Students Receive 89 Placement Offers from Leading Companies

The Data Science Department of D. Y. Patil College of Engineering & Technology, Kasaba Bawada, Kolhapur, has achieved remarkable success in campus placements, with students receiving 89 placement offers from more than 32 reputed national and multinational companies.

The placement drive witnessed strong participation from leading organizations across the technology and IT sectors. Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) offered the highest package of ₹8.5 lakh per annum, highlighting the strong technical capabilities and industry readiness of the students.

Among the companies participating in the recruitment process, HPE selected 25 students, making it the company with the highest number of selections from the department. Anlon Systems selected 14 students, while Wallster Technologies selected 8 students and Elo Logics selected 4 students. Several other reputed organizations, including HCL, Infosys, Tata Consultancy Services, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Foxconn India, Technologies Solutions, Test Yantra, Appmosys Technologies, and Wallster Technologies, also provided career opportunities to students.

The achievement reflects the department’s emphasis on industry-oriented education, technical skill development, practical learning, communication skills, and placement preparation. Continuous training in emerging technologies and dedicated placement support have helped students successfully meet the expectations of leading employers.

The placement activities were carried out under the guidance of Executive Director Dr. A. K. Gupta, Training and Placement Officer Prof. Sudarshan Sutar, Prof. Makarand Kaikade, and Dr. Ganesh V. Patil. The management congratulated the students and faculty members for this outstanding achievement.
