Language Laboratory |
The Department of First Year Engineering has the facility of the Digital Language Laboratory. Orell Talk Language Lab software provides a controlled environment for students to practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing in a target language. The software includes one teacher console and 20 student consoles. Objectives: |
Electrical and Electronics Laboratory |

DSO – Digital Storage Oscilloscope
Description A digital storage oscilloscope (DSO) is an oscilloscope which stores and analyses the input signal digitally rather than using analog techniques. It is now the most common type of oscilloscope in use because of the advanced trigger, storage, display and measurement features which it typically provides. |
|
Digital IC Trainer KIT
Description The IC Trainer Kit is a type of electronic circuit that can help in creating working circuits. These electronic circuits are interlinked to form an operational circuit. IC trainer kit comes with short colored cables attached with the insulated clips to help experiment without removing the parts. It processes in two states: On and Off, and comes with electronic paper, also known as Gats, that help convert simple on and off conditions. |
|
LVDT: Linear Variable Differential Transformer
Description LVDTs are robust, absolute linear position/displacement transducers; inherently frictionless, they have a virtually infinite cycle life when properly used. As AC operated LVDTs do not contain any electronics, they can be designed to operate at cryogenic temperatures or up to 1200 °F (650 °C), in harsh environments, and under high vibration and shock levels. |
|
Function Generator
Description In electrical engineering, a function generator is usually a piece of electronic test equipment or software used to generate different types of electrical waveforms over a wide range of frequencies. Some of the most common waveforms produced by the function generator are the sine wave, square wave, triangular wave and sawtooth shapes. |
|
Transformer
Description A transformer is a passive component that transfers electrical energy from one electrical circuit to another circuit, or multiple circuits. A varying current in any coil of the transformer produces a varying magnetic flux in the transformer’s core, which induces a varying electromotive force (EMF) across any other coils wound around the same core. |
Applied Physics Laboratory |
About Applied Physics laboratory
Applied Physics plays the primary role in the professional courses of all Engineering branches and generally taught in first year of courses. Engineering Physics course provides fundamental principles of physics, using calculus for Engineering Sciences. Students will learn the perception of optics, semiconductors, acoustics, and optics in different engineering applications. The Physics laboratory course includes Outcome Based practical’s based on optics, semiconductors, and acoustics. The instructor may choose experiments as per the norms of minimum experiments requirements (so as to cover entire contents of the course) from the list or otherwise. Minimum ten practical’s to be performed to cover the entire curriculum of course. Major Equipment’s: |
Newton’s Ring | He-Ne LASER Source | R P Telescope |
Ultrasonic Interferometer | Hall Effect | Band Gap Energy |
Applied Chemistry laboratory |
Applied Chemistry Laboratory Course At every stage in life, we are connected to different aspects of chemistry directly or indirectly. It encircles a variety of fields –agriculture, food, medicine, fertilizers, polymers, metals etc. Thus, the knowledge of chemistry is useful in different aspects of human life. Our chemistry lab aims to ⮞ show our students the excitement of science. ⮞ raise the attainment in science by supporting the school curriculum. ⮞ inspire our students to become the great future. Our chemistry lab is well equipped with chemicals and other apparatus to cater to the needs of all the students. Students start using the chemistry lab from First year onwards. They show great enthusiasm in using chemicals and perform hands on experiments. It is also supported by a virtual lab which is used to conduct experiments on the board and observe the reactions. The virtual lab also provides animations of chemical reactions at the molecular level. The lab has an excellent safety system with fire extinguishers. The lab inculcates curiosity and inquisitiveness in students. It plays a very important role in developing a scientific temperament in our students. This lab includes : ⮞ Digital pH meter, ⮞ Digital Courimeter ⮞ Electric water bath, ⮞ Magnetic Stirrer, ⮞ Weighing Balance, ⮞ Double distilled water plant |
