DYPCET clinch thriller against Somaiya

The management, principal, vice principal, registrar and the entire teaching and non teaching staff congratulate the college football team for making us proud by winning the second national championship in 3 years. Our college football team lifted the winners trophy at all “India Invitational Football Tournament” held at KJ Somaiya College grounds, Mumbai.

Our team was unbeaten in the entire tournament and when they entered the finals they had tough opponent in the form of KJ Somaiya who were playing on the home ground. Despite a partisan crowd our lads performed well and kept the position for most of the first half. It was only in the second half that things started moving when the midfield and attack of D.Y Patil made some dangerous moves inside the penalty areas. Both the goals came in the second half which seal the fate for championships. We would also like to thank KJ Somaiya College for organising the tournament in the most professional way.
