PUNE: On 29th of September D. Y. Patil Group of Institutions, Kolhapur, CISCO, Microchip, and Grademe collaboratively arranged the TPO- Industry conclave 2018.
We all know “Great things are done by a series of small things brought together”
From D. Y. Patil Group and grademe’s perspective, providing a platform for all TPO’s to interact with the industrial fraternity to contribute towards nation building is also a step towards the development of students and nation as well.
Today’s event was an example, with the unity across the association – inspired on industry collaboration in Electronics and Telecommunications sector.
Mr.Subhajit Jagadev from Cisco Networking Academy brief opportunities in Cisco and benefits of Cisco Networking Academy. He has also explained career scope in Cybersecurity with the grace of global certification program of Cisco Networking Academy.
Mr.Jagan Jothiwel has addressed about upcoming MAPIC program by Microchip which is leading organization in the embedded electronics sector. Jagan has pitched current challenges in recruitment in core electronics sector and upcoming opportunities in core jobs.
Dr. Jonathan Joshi, gradeMe introduced features of gradeMe assessment test and best teaching possibilities with new technology as Augmented reality.
Mr.Umesh Neelkandan has addressed a very informative session on the automotive sector and K2L program of Microchip.
With same enthusiasm, Panel discussion was very interactive and cognitive in this program.
I personally thanks to all TPOs of Maharashtra who graced quality and standard of this first conclave initiative by D Y Patil Group of Institutions, Kolhapur.

“Shantai Gunvant Vidyarthi” Scholarship Scheme Announced
DY Patil Group is pleased to announce scholarship scheme for students of all DY Patil Educational Institutes. This news was revealed by the Trustee of the Group, Mr. Ruturaj S. Patil at a media conference held at Engineering college yesterday. The scholarship will be named as “Shantai Gunvant Vidhyarthi Shishyavrutti” after his respected grandmother.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Ruturaj Patil said that DY Patil group is committed to improving the future of all students throughout their institutes. “We believe that educational quality for everyone is key in fostering a network of skilled professionals for years to come”, he said.
Exe. Director of DY Patil Group, Dr. A.K Gupta, who was also present in the meeting and gave more insights into the scholarship scheme. “This scholarship is aimed at motivating competitive students who are pursuing their degrees and diplomas at DY Patil Institutions,” he said.
Highlights about the scheme:
1. University / Board topper in any stream of engineering will receive a scholarship in the form of final year full tuition fee waiver.2. Class toppers in each division will get Rs. 5000/- as scholarship

Mr. B. Thiagarajan has been Joint Managing Director of Blue Star Limited since April 1, 2016. Mr. Thiagarajan served as the President of Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Products Business at Blue Star Limited from May 13, 2013, to April 1, 2016. Mr. Thiagarajan oversees AC&R Products, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service, Corporate Communications & Marketing and Public Relations at Blue Star Limited. Mr. Thiagarajan served as an Executive Vice President and Vice President of Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Division of Blue Star Limited.
