ARPAN Annual Fest Begins Today
The management of DYPCET believes that tomorrows success begins today, thus they are spinning a deeper meaning of that in their 4-day annual celebrations happening at the college Campus.
ARPAN has been providing an opportunity to the students at DYPCET to display their skills and win accolades for themselves. This year will be a special edition of the annual event with the newly joined Executive Director Dr. A.K Gupta personally overseeing the preparations along with the able guidance of Principal Dr. A.N Jadhav and Gymkhana Incharge Mr. Rajendra Raikar and all other faculty committee members.
Following is the event itinerary
15th February
6 PM to 7:30 PM – Prize Distribution Ceremony and Inspirational Speech by Dr. Prashant Amrutkar, Dy. Superintendent of Police, Kolhapur City
7:30 PM Onwards – TranceMee Campus Dance Party – Live DJ Performance by DJ HITZ and the team from Hotel Sayaji
16th February
Drama Competition from 6-9 PM
17th February
9 AM to 1 PM – Traditional Day & Fun Fair
6 PM to 9 PM – Music Festival (Rock Show by Students)
18th February
9 AM to 1 PM – Mr. and Miss DYPCET
6 PM to 9 PM – Variety Show and Birthday Celebration of our President Hon Dr. Sanjay D. Patil

Architecture students visit Barcelona museum
Feb 13- Students of DY Patil College of Engineering and Technology, Department of Architecture are are currently on a tour to study the historical and modern architecture of Spain. This study tour is headed by the head of department Mr. Ravindra Raikar.As a part of the study tour, the student’s visited many places among which the National Museum of Spain in Barcelona was the prominent one.
The student also attended an orientation program on the evolution of urban spaces by famous architect Karan Koppar. A building of classical styles the museum of Barcelona gives an in-depth knowledge of various architectural styles to the students of Architecture.
The students also visited the art and science center in Valencia, a masterpiece created by architect Cala Trava. it was an amazing experience for all the students

Student has been elected as the Zonal President at NASA
DYPCET, Department of Architecture students have won the International prize for Laurie Baker the trophy amongst 300 colleges from India and abroad.Also our HUDCO entry is the only one from, Maharashtra to have been shortlisted amongst 300 colleges.Mr.Rajvardhan Kamire ,our TY student has been elected as the zonal President. admin February 7th, 2018

Inauguration of College Newsletter
The college inaugurated the first edition of its newsletter at the hands of Hon. Sou. Shantadevi D. Patil.
The inauguration of the magazine was done an event organized by the editorial committee, which also marked the birthday of Hon Sou. Shantadevi D. Patil.

Corporate Day held at DYPCET
Students and fraternity at the Chemical Engineering Department of DY Patil College of Engineering and Technology celebrated Corporate Day on 10th January at the college campus.

Sports Inauguration Function “Arpan 2k18”
9 Jan: The student council at DY Patil College of Engg. and Tech. got off to a brilliant start with their annual sports and cultural event ‘Arpan 2k18’.
In a vivid display of colors and cultural extravaganza, students from various departments staged a march past in the most professional manner at the inauguration of the event.
Trustee of DY Patil Pratisthan, Hon. Ruturaj S. Patil inaugurated the event and declared the games open. Campus Director Dr. A.K. Gupta wished the students on the occasion and Principal Dr. A.N Jadhav extended his best wishes. The event is being organized by the Gymkhana department headed by Rajendra Raikar along with the student’s council members.
